Vattanac Bank Hosts “Cybersecurity Starts at Home” Forum, Launching Innovative “Block Now” Feature, 1st in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – [22 August 2025] – Vattanac Bank hosted the Cybersecurity Starts at Home Forum at ATOM, Vattanac Capital, gathering experts from education, technology, fintech and banking to highlight the importance of online safety, share insights and empower communities with knowledge & tools, for both adults and children to safeguard themselves in today’s digital world.

The forum featured dialogues and insights by cybersecurity experts from Vattanac Bank, First Cambodia, Biplan Global, Proseth Solutions, The King’s School Vattanac Ville, and CABS Consulting. Speakers emphasized several key points:

• Cybersecurity starts at home – families must be aware that children are increasingly exposed to online risks, and digital literacy should begin early.

• Building resilience across all levels – from personal devices to corporate networks, cybersecurity frameworks and awareness are critical.

• Practical prevention – individuals and organizations must take proactive steps to protect themselves, including monitoring risks and having contingency plans.

• Cross-industry collaboration – schools, businesses, and banks all share a responsibility to educate and protect communities against digital threats.
