| | | Fixed Deposit Interest Rate and Maturity Policies In the absence of prior instruction from the customer, all maturing fixed deposits shall be automatically rolled-over based on the same terms of the maturing fixed deposit and at the prevailing rate. No interest is paid for pre-mature withdrawal. However, for fixed deposit which has concluded at least 3 months, interest is paid at the prevailing rate paid under Savings deposit for the completed months. Maturity is based on calendar month and on the exact anniversary date. If the date of maturity is non-existent at maturity, then maturity date shall be moved backwards to the last day of that month. For example, placement of fixed deposit for one (1) month on 30 January shall mature on 28 February. |
