Vattanac Bank celebrated its 7th annual staff party at Raffles Le Royal Hotel in Phnom Penh on 19 December 2009.

Participants included staff from the Head Office, Phnom Penh Main Office, Olympic Branch and Siem Reap Branch. The function was graced by our Chairman, Oknha Sam Ang, President, Madam Chhun Leang, Ms. Sam Ang Kanika and Mr. Sam Ang Vattanac.

Ms Kanika, on behalf of the President, said during the opening speech that she was delighted to see staff and management cooperating in organizing and joining the party. She added that the spirit of co-operation is an integral value to attaining Vattanac Bank’s corporate objectives as demonstrated by the Bank’s ability to weather the global financial crisis in the past year.

“Working together is a success,” Ms. Kanika emphasized. “I am confident that through teamwork, we will overcome the challenges and achieve our goal. The whole is always better than the parts.”

The Annual Staff Party, which started at 5.30 p.m. and ended past 11.00 p.m., was filled with entertaining activities including the Bank’s World Dance, Prince and Princess contest, dancing and lucky draw.

Winners of the Bank’s World Dance contest were the Break Dance, Angkor Starry and Green Pearl.  The Prince and Princess were Mr. Rathna from Siem Reap Branch and Ms. Rachana from Phnom Penh Branch’s Credit Department.   The 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize lucky draw went to Ms. Ngath Isabelline, Ms. Sophana and Mr. Sok Nan.

“The party was very exciting. I enjoyed myself very much,” Ol Sras of the Banking Operations said jubilantly. “Next year, I will join the dancing contest.”
